To the Editor, for Joan White, County Clerk.

    The continuing value to our community,

of Joan White as our County Clerk is that of

institutional memory   --   and

Joan White is our institutional memory.

    In the great cities of the world, that

value has become lost, a question of

scale.    We have an opportunity to

avoid losing Joan White.

    Here in this community of islands,

Joan White   --  and her extraordinary

memory   --   does that sort of work

which is better done every year by

the person who did it last year:

if they're the right person.

Joan White is the right person.. Vote for Joan White.
